The Game not only just gave $1 million of clean water for the people of Flint Michigan, he also posted his $13 million dollar bank account balance on Instagram.
The rapper has a net worth well over $13 million. In the Instagram post, The Game calls out other celebrities who he says have faked donating money to Flint. His problem with the other donations is that they come in the form of pledges. A pledge is just a promise. A donation is a donation, and The Game shows indisputable proof that he has made one.
The Game Million Dollar Donation
The fat cash injection to the Flint water crisis comes because The Game has ties to the city. The rap star’s little sister lives there with her children. The donation is both a huge help to the people of Flint and a dis of fake help from celebs who don’t really care. It’s also a challenge to other stars and rich people to pony up and pitch in to help Flint residents.
Check out The Game’s Instagram post below. Pay special attention to two things: The Game’s bank balance of $13,274,585.32 and his transfer of $500,000 to the Avita H2O Corp. The other $500,000 is a matched donation by the Avita Water Corporation.
The Game’s donation couldn’t have come at a better time. According to the star, Flint, Michigan has a population of 105,000. Each person needs about nine bottles of water per day for basic needs.
The Game says in his post that his $500,000 donation is every dollar he’s made so far on his current tour. The donation amounts to 1 million bottles of water for the people of Flint.
The Game Calls Out Puny Donations
By contrast to The Game’s million dollar water donation, Madonna has reportedly made only a $10,000 donation. That is astounding for someone with a net worth of over half a billion dollars. The Game adds that he donates money constantly and that he doesn’t write it off on his taxes.
The Game’s $13 Million Dollar Robin Hood Bank Account
The donation is an incredible gift to Flint during their water crisis. It’s refreshing to see someone with money truly using it to help people in need. Of course The Game also shared his checking account balance in his post. That goes to show that he wants everyone to know just how rich he is. But then again, a little ego massage is a small price to pay for this kind of charity. The Game says the $13 million dollar account is just the money for his Robin Hood Foundation.
The video below shows The Game talking about the Flint water crisis, the huge donation, and calling out Madonna and Jimmy Fallon for their small donations.
